There are many questions regarding context, so here it it:

I was invited to attend a fundraiser sparring session for Riley War Machine. I knew Kru Clifton would be there, as the gym owner told me he would be. Being a content creator, I wanted to get some rounds in with Clifton as he's a 5x World Champ. When I arrived, I personally introduced myself and requested 3 rounds as it was an honour to meet him, to which he agreed. That was all that was mentioned.

Now his intensity in sparring was too hard for my personal liking, and in hindsight I should have walked away. At the end of the day, I did want to make content with him, but I didn't think to clarify/mention "light sparring only". I just assumed he would have responded with the same level of power knowing his experience and skill level.
No, I did not hurt any of his students prior to sparring, in fact he was the first one I went with.
No, I did not ask for hard sparring.
No, I didn't ask for elbows as I didn't even realize he was wearing elbow pads until later.

New viewers of my channel should know that my platform is mainly educational, and I really just enjoy displaying my training, other fighters training and techniques, and my love for the sport. 🙏

The students had more sparring etiquette than a 5x world champion

For 5x world champion, you would think he would have more class than that. Ego was bigger than his own head. Props to Jeff for always being patient

Imagine being that much bigger and having to go that hard. You're good dude. Well done..

Throwing heavy shots in light sparring makes you look weak, not strong. It shows your ego feels the need to "win" at sparring. Much respect Jeff.

I'm not gonna lie, for a 5x world champion bro has a lack of sparring etiquette. Especially with like 80 plus pounds on you, throwing bombs at every turn, heavy elbows too. Bro gotta do better in that field

World chump: 20% power
Jeff: 20% power
World chump: 1000% power for no reason

That does not exemplify a coach. The lack of control was next level. Throwing in elbows like that even with pads is a joke.

I've sparred with big guys who are better than me + willing to hurt me, and I froze out of fear. You showed great discipline and courage sparring someone as scary as this guy, I aspire to be like you both physically and mentally, thank you Jeff!

When you wanna look good in front of your students but it actually makes you look dumb. No sense in hard sparring with no intention. There was no intention dude was straight trying to drop you. Props on taking all those heavy kicks and elbows. This is why we follow you 🔥

Your humble approach to this OBVIOUS absurdity is a testament to your character and brand

Well done

3:35 “You got elbowed again.” Bro this dude is weird and dangerous as a coach. He can’t let his ego go for one sec

Jeff, you’re a class act for not complaining

5:07 man that was uncalled for. Both of you spent that round light, technical and with touches and then he goes on to throw a random Sagat street fighter roundhouse kick.

Thanks for posting. Love that you share both the good sparring session where you dominate and the bad one where you take a beating. Excellent attitude and always humble. You’re what’s right with the sport

this guy supposed to be the head coach over there? bad sparring etiquette imo, he's got like 20 kgs on you and goes from light touch to suddenly exploding with power (with elbows even!) for no fucking reason
