The Audio-Technica ATH-M50x have the been the go to headphones for both normal consumers and professionals just looking for well built, and good sounding headphones. But now we have the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT… they have the same styling as before but now they’re wireless, they have a touch pad, and they have on board media controls. And these headphones are so good that they’ve joined the Sony WH-CH700N in my most recommended $200 headphones club. But I like these for a whole other set of reasons and would recommend them to a very different type of person than I would recommend these to.

The more I am hearing about these the more I like them...However, I just cannot wait for the ATH-SR50BT, which I believe they re gonna rock just like these plus they will be noise cancelling!!!

I just ordered a pair of these headphones. I use the wired version at work and love them. In the video you state you can only pair to one device at once, which had me worried, but I have looked in the user guide online for the headphones and it states you can pair to 8 devices.

This is exactly the comparison I was looking for. Thank you! I think I may go for the Sonys, as I prefer a "fun" sound signature when listening to my tunes on the go. Also, the original V-Moda Crossfade Wireless are on sale for less than $120 on Amazon, and they're also pretty exciting to listen to, if not as refined as the new generation. Worth a look.

Ahm, if I could add my 2 cents, on some video you do talk about taking the headphones to the gym, it'd be awesome to test thjis in gym I live hitting the weights, but algo good music (v-shaped for myself) .... just a thought :D

Most normal consumers never liked the m50xs because their sound signature is much flatter than mainstream headphones and speakers. They’ve always been loved by creators who need more accurate sound, even though audiophiles still claim the headphones have too much bass.
