Not only that Bo nix had a good o line at Oregon but broncos o line isn’t bad it’s pretty solid. It only looked bad because Russ liked to hold the ball forever then try to run but he’s not fast enough anymore so he was caught almost everytime

Marlin Briscoe was a rookie starter for the Broncos in 1968...one year before I started watching them. So you're wrong about no rookie ever starting here. BTW...he was dumped in favor of a guy who sucked because he was black, which is a fact.

Bo Nix has never seen a real NFL defense yet. We don't know if he can read one or not, & what we DO know is that in his only year in college in which he was asked to do more than make one or two reads (2021), Nix not only struggled, but was benched for a while. Had he come out after 3 seasons at Auburn like Stidham did, he would have been drafted on day 3, not in the first round.

Tap the brake on the Nix hype for now. He played in a system in college for 4 of his 5 years that severely handicapped the defense & pumps up QB stats. The media has ignored it or they don't know about it...either way, we need to let this kid play a while before we start talking about how good he is. Brees had 27 starts in the league before he was good.

I think the "sack-to-TD" is kind of a misleading statistic without context. How many of those sacks happened on third down? You might be talking a sack because there is nowhere to throw the ball, which means the drive is going to end either way. That stat only has value on first and second down.
