for those wondering this is called a brute force attack, those type of attacks are basically spamming password until one of them works, there are a bunch of way to do that, its slow and unefficent. you usually download a list of the most common passwords and add your most used password on the begin of the wordlist. also there are dedicated tools for zip archive cracking.

In most cases password protected files have a virus inside because if the zip is password protected windows antivirus can't easily detect it right away

Pretty helpful against short password, can't do this when the fact most archive i have has more than 12 character long password.

You should have added "delims=" to the for loop so that passwords with a space don't get cut off (because that's the default behaviour in batch, even if you're not extracting tokens, it just splits the string)
