The new recorded version of this incredible tale was a long time coming. As so many listeners have pointed out in the comments, the audio and the narration quality of the previous version of this story featured on this channel is not at par and leaves a lot to be desired and I totally agree with that assessment. Hopefully, this new improved audio version will remedy the issue. Thank you!

I listen to your reading of these Corbett stories every night I am out in hunting camp. Really, I am a fan of your reading style and found nothing wrong or disconcerting with the original recording. It all sounded so very authentic. Bravo. I will listen to this one today while I work.

Thank you for the updated version of this ageless classic. Jim Corbett was a fine example of a man. A man of honor! There's a reason his name graces India's first national park.

I have always been fascinated by these Indian jungle stories and Jim Corbett remains my favorite author. Thank you Mr. Singh for these digital tributes to the memory and deeds of this great human.

This is my first comment here but it is one of my favourite YouTube channels. I often tune in when I just want to listen to a story at night. ❤

I enjoyed this, I once read a book of man-eaters by Corbett, having been published in 1946 I think, our school library had a copy and I read it in about 1981 or so, never forgot it

The first Corbett man hunting tiger story is among the best in jungle lores. Great story beautifully rendered as usual Mr Viraj Singh. Corbett's experience in the night is now legendary..
I look forward to your uploads...
Many thanks.

I love about Jim Corbetts written was the paranormal experiences he had like screams coming from a village where he knew no man was in several times and the famous lights over a mountain. He never goes into detail on these he simply shares his accounts of what he heard / saw.

It is a welcome pleasure to find such a fine reading and respect for the history related here and a refreshing to see that today’s values not placed on the values of yesterday … 25:45

Simply wonderful. After a hard days work I shall savour this new version read by the peerless Mr AV Singh. Your silken voice and perfect pacing cannot be beaten. Thank you

Your voice is literally the best and I appreciate you editing in animal sounds instead of just leaving it up to our imagination, especially in another video where you talked about how lone jackals cry differently than those in packs and actually played the sound so i didn't have to dig it up myself. You speak so clearly and slow enough I don't miss any words but fast enough I'm not bored, which is a big problem I have with a lot of audiobooks. I really appreciate your content and can't wait to see what you make next :D

Thank you again Apratim. Viewers may also be aware of man-eating tiger(s) currently operating in Pauri Garhwal that has left 2 dead (1 half eaten) and 2 foiled attempts (machan and goat, just as Corbett did 100 years ago) at capturing the 2 tigers believed involved. They think bigger tigers are chasing out the younger tigers (growing population in Corbett National Park....it's beautiful that the population of tigers is increasing so much, but now we have these problems) and they are hungry, starving, and wandering into villages now.

I started listening to you more than an year ago. Thanks for the videos. I grew up in garhwal, the place where most of Corbett's adventures happened. Living away from home, your narration and corbett's writing gives a sense of home. Thanks
