Intense Military Training

Look! This is the most intense military training ever, and it takes place underwater! In this training, soldiers are challenged to dive to the bottom of the pool to retrieve a mask. But here’s the catch—they’re completely tied up! Both their hands and legs are bound with rope, so the only way they can grab the mask is by using their mouth. Imagine the focus and endurance needed to pull this off! Yet, even with such an incredible display of skill and toughness, no one has liked this video yet!

Retired Army here: the point of this exercise is what? When will someone have to sink to the bottom of a pool, hands and feet tied up, to retrieve a mask you won’t be able to put on your face?

It’s called mask retrieval part of navy seal drownproofing training. First you do bobbing by exhaling until you sink and retriev the mask with your teeth and push off the pool floor to the surface and then take a breath
