Listeners seem to have forgotten that Ryoji creates all of the sounds you are hearing here from a pure waveform. Saw him do this live in Japan back in 2017. Hes a genius.

By FAR his most accessible album, his iconic musical style is way less cryptic, more colorful and doesn't require a lot of patience to truly enjoy his musical style compared to his previous albums, and some songs like “ultrasonics 04” are surprisingly danceable.

Love the different speech synthesizers he used for this album. I heard an Atari ST speech synthesizer near the beginning and the usage of the NATO phonetic alphabet was really cool as well.

It sounds to me like a mix from Atari 2600 video games from the 80´s and a frequency generator. The result is very pure and quite good.

that he can still hear after producing this/his style for so long. I have this on such a low volume cause otherwise I would go deaf, but it feels like I should have it louder. Doesn't hit right. Is there a trick to withstand the resonances?
