Meet the Wright Dairy Farm Family of Kentucky

The Wright Dairy Farm is working on its third and fourth generations of farmers in Russellville, Kentucky. Jimmy Wright is a second generation farmer and heads up the operation, along with his wife, Mary Lou and their son, Blake. The family’s farm, opened in 1987 with Jersey cows, is now about 270 acres and they rent another 75 acres for pasture. They milk about 265 cows and combined with their dry cows and heifers, they have close to 600 head of cattle throughout the year.
