Women's beauty is for the husband to see, not the world.

I think alot of misconception of the hijab is they think Muslim women need to wear it all of the time. The hijab is only compulsory when only they are in public. When at home with family and husbands, they can wear whatever they want. Islam just wants to teach men and women modesty, a man should not be eye balling women up and down behind sunglasses and women should not be wearing skimpy clothing and then blame men for staring. This is what makes a community safe, modest and respectful.

See, if they answer with an honest heart, their answer will align perfectly with Islam.

Diamonds and gems are protected so much
So why women who are far more precious shouldn't be protected/covered

FOR THE PEOPLE QUESTIONING

1st Putting on a Hijab is a personal choice but also an obligation from god. Choice depends on subjective morality of the individual

2nd Well he used the word "beautiful" agreeing both breast and face are absolutely beautiful but its decency when the breast is covered but in the case of face he is confused why the face "while agreeing covering is decency". The answer was subjective to both his question and his thought process. Allowing him to answer his own question filling the gap of reasoning he was searching behind the covering of face.

3rd : indeed face is not equal to private parts but the focus is beauty indeed the face and hairs of a women is attractive eye catching. If ykyk in order to be a women of decency and modesty not a slave to public attention and also to avoid bad eyes lustfull men who check sisters out in public without any shame like dogs. We live in a society where some men lust on even feet of sisters let alone hairs and facial beauty astagfirullah and indeed hijab is undoubtedly the best source of clothing to avoid such problems and to become best of the people with decency and modesty. And indeed we are no one to judge only allah is the judge hijab is a personal choice again its between the individual and her lord. As men we should look down and respect them. Cover or not covered .

Schools in america need to teach self respect and privacy, because that is one of the many reasons people wear hijabs.

It’s the gentle conversation between 2 men that made this a genuine interaction, thank you to the non Muslims that day who chose to listen to the responses to their thoughts and questions. More of this is needed so we can all learn from one another

From what I understand, covering the face with a veil or niqab is not actually obligated in Islamic teaching, but it's optional for women to do so, should she want to further maintain her decency or should she want to further avoid any unwanted gaze from other men besides her husband...for women what is compulsory is covering her awrah..hands and face are not part of awrah
