As an Aggie I’ll take pretty much anyone to manage the offense than the stubborn head scratching playcalls we got last season. It was rough watching lot of talent barely utilized

Good for him for handing duties over?? Nah. He had a Come to Jesus meeting with the AD and powers that be. They TOLD him he would hand over play calling duties to the OC he WAS going to hire.
I hope everything works out in our favor.

Petrino will probably not be given much leeway in how he runs the offense. Ultimately, it will be a Jimbo offense. Which unfortunately for Aggies fans, is not good. They got lucky with Achane and Stewart, but Achane is going pro and Stewart is mulling a portal.

Good hire. Funny how in 2022 we lose 3 offensive linemen to injury, 2 starting recievers(1 suspended) and 2 Quarterbacks....but Jimbo is the problem???

This should’ve been done. Even when Mond was at QB the offense was always tense and hard to watch . Never just got it.

Not a fan of the hire. There had to be other options. I want to know what is considered successful next year. If we get to 10 wins will most Aggies be happy? I won’t, the high risk, high reward phase has been thrown around and I’m fine with that as long as high reward is playoffs or better.

As a Texas fan, I LOVE THIS HIRE! A&M failed to hire literally anyone else. They turned down Petrino weeks ago so Petrino to the UNLV job... UNLV! Now that A&M couldn't convince anyone else, A&M had to hire an old Dinosaur who is failing at the FCS level. 5-7 again next year.
