As an Englishman I have personally seen a lot of “cryptids” around my home of Sheffield such as panthers( my grandad saw them) or big dogmen in ecclesaw woods.

Listened while trucking yesterday. Went to Jane Lew, WV. and kept my eyes peeled. No luck. But, it was dark when I had the encounter. Maybe they only come out at night. I Love your channel! LOVE YA BEN! LATA!

Thanks Ben. Great as always.
And thanks for keeping the cryptids and legends separate.
Also remember, the Bear Lake Monster lives in Idaho.

I love that you had the Giant Bat in there. I always love the bat like cryptids.

I think a future video on the Woodwose Christmas Bigfoot traditions might be an interesting topic for another video. Maybe a Christmas Cryptid special?

The owlman is such an interesting cryptid and the werewolf/dogman encounters were so... Eerie. Loved them!

So northern England has an Owlman?? Or has it just got a resident HarpyOwl, they can stand 5+foot tall.
I must admit I’m surprised not to see dragons. But I suppose Wales will have them.
Thanks for another good view.🙏👍🇦🇺

As always, awesome video. I'm with you on the flags. I also thought there was only one for England. As soon as I heard owlman I thought mothman, so similar. I'm not so sure big cats and alligators/ crocodiles are cryptids. Could just be pets people let go as the Pumas. Bwt, shame on her. Just my opinion. Anyway thanks for making Mondays fun. Hope you and your family have a great week.❤❤

Your videos are awesome and I really appreciate how you don't go over the top and make stuff up but just put in hard research and give us the facts of what you find. Take care and I'm still voting for Nevada.🖖🏼

Ben, I know you have to be hard at work on North Carolina by now and meant to post this sooner, but I really hope you can cover the Devil's Tramping Ground. While it isn't directly attached to a cryptid, unless you consider the Devil a cryptid, it is one of North Carolina's most enduring legends. There are all kinds of folklore and tales attached to the story and land. It would make for a great segment in the video I believe. Thanks and can't wait to see NC's time in the spotlight. There are so many great tales that originate with the Indigenous population both in the flat lands of the East (Lumbee tribe) and the mountains of the West (modern day Cherokee) The early European settlers of the mountains took these folklore tales and incorporated them while adding their own takes.
Even some of the earliest history of European settlers in the state, the Lost Colony of Roanoke, has some variations that claim cryptids could have been to blame as well as starvation, troubles with indigenous peoples, aliens, were-creatures. You name it and someone has blamed whatever it may be for the Lost Colony.

Hmm... A Large winged Beast... An Owl Man... A Large Bat like creature... They all sound Pretty Similar to ME... Sure sounds Similar to the MothMan creature... It's almost like a world-wide Phenomena, & by the sound of things, has been going on through the Very Very Interesting Indeed.

My vote for Blackfoot, Idaho cryptid by state still stands! If you contact the Fort Hall Reservation office you may be able to get stories. Just a suggestion. LYL!
