Lin dan said he is only playing for his fans from now on, so the matches he has recently lost doesn't really matter to him as hes not as competitive anymore.

Glad to see Lin Dan playing finals, Going too tight on the net shots really costed him the win in Game1 (missing some good attacks was another big problem).
Nowadays He is trying too early to go for perfect shots (a la TTY) that release the pressure on his opponents since they don't need to battle him on the tactical & physical front.

Still, seeing the difference in footwork is always surprising to see, Tzuneyama is running like a maniac while Lin walks and yet manage to follow pace.
At the end the Japanese really found the holes on LD court so it's a well deserved win.

It’s amazing to see how Lin Dan not lost a tiny bit of his skill with ageing. The only thing that keeps him from giving it his all is his stamina. Man, there can never be anyone as good as him.
