Always amazed to see the world align against Terry Bozzio for simply having a large drum set. Nice guy, great drummer, played on many legendary albums. Guess he committed the sin of playing melodically?

All I know is Bozzio's drumming on Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop album is amazing. A great drummer.

I had a DVD of Bozzio playing Baby Snakes on a giant kit like that and a DVD of Bozzio playing Baby Snakes on a "normal kit" in the seventies. The timbral difference is huge.

Having been raised on eighties metal drummers. Less isn't more, more is more as Yngwie says.
Tommy Lee, Nicko McBrain and Neil Peart are role models for any aspiring Metal drummer.
We may not need them, but it looks cool.
