I flew a 701 years ago, diverting from a business trip to St. Louis. Really fun, and now retired thinking about a build. But the memory I cherish was sitting in the lone Mexico Mo BBQ joint on a Friday night, and being the only patron there with 3 people waiting on me, asking about live music locally. After intense discussion amongst the servers, I was finally informed there was live music, but it was in someone's garage playing a loud stereo. You've just gotta love small town life!

I've only recently discovered this channel and really loving it. My godfather purchased a Zenith STOL CH801 about ten years ago and had it shipped here to Tasmania. It's an island state off the southern coast of Australia. Similar to a tiny Alaska. Since then he's retired, sold the farm, gotten ill and is now in a nursing home. He was a busy man and was always doing things for other people. He never got the chance to build his dream plane. I know nothing about building aircraft but wish I could win the lottery or just enough to get the CH 801 built for him as a surprise. Thanks for this video 🍻👍

NICE tour... wish I were closer I'd show up at all the open houses just to see the cool metal IF I were a bit younger ( 30 yrs. or so ) I'd be building a 750 nice plane, great tour.

8:10 Roger, Chief Test Pilot/Head Broom Sweeper lol! He sure has a diverse job. Seriously, you won't find a better bunch of people ANYWHERE than the guys and gals who work there. It's a real family atmosphere, and they're very welcoming to anyone who'd like to come take a look. Roger would love to take you for a spin too (pun intended, but not literally!)

What, only American citizen workers? Reminds me of the past 40 decades ago (smile). Those airplanes, short takeoff & landing, have gotta be the most fun to fly over the tree tops, rivers, and lakes to a remote cabin with your family for vacation or a cabin in the wilderness or simple for recreation and sightseeing or camping with friends etc.

How I would like to work in a plant like that !!!! Unfortunately in Argentina I have never been able to work in aeronautics, despite being an aeronautical technician and having prepared myself hard in a prestigious school Thank you for sharing this video! Today I work as a technician in a newspaper in Buenos Aires Argentina but I have worked in lathes, milling machines and electroerosionras with CNC so their machines, routers etc reminded me of old times! I love the Zenith CH-701! Greeting to all from Quilmes, Argentina !!!!

I love that they are using US labor in the US! That alone is enough to get me to get me behind the brand, AND, that they are awesome planes. Thanks for another great video.

Hi.I was thinking about an utrassonic in flight deicing. This technique can be adapted very easyly using pasively infrasonic energy accumulation or actively ultrasonic pulse vibration before ice forming. With my deep regards.

Thanks, like everything y'all make. The stol planes are badass, but the ch650 is gorgeous!
One thumbs down? (must be a boat guy...)

Nice job on the video! It's great to get a look at how these planes get their start. One of the biggest surprises was seeing Roger pushing a broom....is there anything he doesn't do at that place? Haha.
