I took a part a micro switch because it was always on. Cleaned up the contacts then couldn't quite figure out how it went back together and this help immensely

Excellent video!!! I need a limit switch which controls a 12v motor. After closing (or opening) the switch I want it to allow the motor to move in the same direction. How do i achieve this?

You missed that an inductive load is different than a resistive load and that a high current can be switched in resistive loads.
