i think the hardest parts of this song are just the tempo and time signatures, and maybe some of the higher notes. i play trumpet and when my band director played this for us my section collectively lost our minds

Just got done with MPA where we played Give Us This Day by David Maslanka. Day after in class my band director plays this for us and is like "So this is happening for the spring concert." Mind you that gives us a little less than two months to get this performance ready. We were all like "Are you crazy?" and his response is "it sounds harder than it is."

I am excited for the cool trombone slide stuff I'll get to do though 😁
