ILMJXXX, Thank you SO much for posting. We camera crew guys LOVED this guy and this song. Haven't heard (or seen) in 50 years!! Makes me really miss the Hy Lit days.

This is one bad-ass jam from the past!! The band is absolutely killing it, especially the drums!

Just had the pleasure of speaking to this lovely gentleman. What a great guy! Gift to all who have the blessing to cross his path.

Brilliant...thanks for posting. Would really like to see him performing his 1970 release "Foxy Girls In Oakland".

I really enjoy the video. Without this video I would have never seen Roger Collins perform. Thanks!

This is so cool! I saw Rodger when I was 12 years old at a show at the Oakland Coliseum. Also on the show were "The Mojo Men", "Harper"s Bizarre", "The Turtles" and headliners "Paul Revere and the Raiders". This was on Feb. 18, 1967.

Growing up in Antioch, CA, the owner of a local pool hall would play this song over and over on the juke box. Free of charge. Everybody went wild when that song came on the box.

Saw him live ca. 1968 Freeborn Hall, UC Davis. The opening act for Deep Purple. One the truly great performers of all time. He was introduced as “The Man Who Made Short Sleeved Suits Famous”. He’s still active - just had a recent YouTube hit “Locked Up”
