I love your videos as well as I love this emulation. It's a killer tool and still after 3 years it stands the test of time imo. Sometimes I just watch your videos to make me more appreciate what I got in the arsenal and to understand more deeply. The historical information you deliver are priceless. Sometimes, when I get lost in your stories and experience reports I just forget to make music myself. Please keep doing what you do. This holistic deepness is unparalleled in the YT world. Thanks and cheers.

Definitely one of my favorite compressors that UA has put out. I've been experimenting with using it on the stereo buss, while maintaining my previous use of the Fairchild on other stems like the drums/vocals etc... the two seem to really work well together, to me. Thanks for the run through!

Thanks for the great review!!! I'm trying to finish some of my songs in UAD LUNA now & feels like the Zener may be helpful, hopefully!!!
I'm really pushing the music a bit to get the sound I want, yet it's getting to approx. -5 LUFS...Do you think that's a problem? or is whatever spec/level Ok, to you, as long as it serves the music? I am looking to take it to streaming services as well as probably print out some CDs...Thanks!!!
p.s. Would you have any tips on giving more headroom, achieving a bigger sound @ a lower LUFS (& RMS)(for streaming especially, I believe a lot of stuff is around -12, -14 or -16 LUFS)? Perhaps rolling off (high pass, low pass, etc.) some tracks? Perhaps EQing the master buss (high pass, low pass, <if not shelf> etc.) before it goes into the master compressor & limiter? Any & all help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks again!!!
p.p.s. Any tips for getting rid of unwanted noise/hiss that creeps up on tracks when compressing/EQing/effecting them? I seem to be getting some sounds I like, but some of the processing to get there can introduce some unwanted hiss etc...I've tried some expander/gate stuff (probably more expander is more natural for vocals or whatever), to some good affect, but it still sounds a bit unnatural (to take away unwanted noise between words or riffs w/instruments etc.)...It sounds like I can go in & cut out or @ least lower the volume in between words etc. manually on the waveform itself...if not going to the source track @ best & processing it somewhat differently to get a cleaner/more desirable sound individually that adds up to the collective cleaner & probably stronger & louder w/out unwanted remnants...Thanks again!!! & again, any & all help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!! (I know, too, de-essers can be helpful to whatever extent, but also trying to get the most natural sound across in the 1st place that may not need de-essing, expansion, gating etc., thanks!!!)
