Of all the games that I played when I was young, the 3 Bomberman games on the N64 were some of my favorites. Now I return to Bomberman Hero, and the game has aged very well. Worth checking out even today if you haven't played it !

This was the first N64 game I ever owned after Super Mario 64. It’s such a fantastic (and truly underrated) game.

The only that hurt to watch about this video was the player only having 1 bomb and 1 blast power for most of the battles.

Man, this is one of those games that I played the heck out of but didn't actually remember all too well nor fondly. Hearing the music, SFX, and watching the gameplay brings it all flooding back and it really was a great experience.

The loud, machine-like sound effects made the bosses seem very scary and menacing when I was a kid. Not so much at 29 lol.

One of the first N64 games my brother and I ever played; good times going back and forth to Hollywood Video with our dad to get it so we could finally beat it. Endol was definitely one of the scariest bosses to us back then, haha.

What the most iconic phrase of Natia accompanied by her mischievous giggle, she must be the toughest bosses of the Bomberman franchise I would like to see her as a reformed villain in some video game later.

And curiously, the Natia kinematics is the moment with the most reproductions of this video.

Endol: easy enough
Baruda: not too bad
Bolban: getting interesting
Natia and Cronus: Getting very interesting but annoying

2nd time around
Endol: How are you not shocking yourself in all that water!?

Baruda: I'd prefer the air, better than fighting this boss on the ground.

Cronus: Too easy you were more of a threat on land.

Bolban: WTF MAN!? WHY IS THIS HARDER THAN IT SEEMS

Twin Natia: ...You have got to be (insert expletive) KIDDING ME!

Bagular 1-3: Meh, okay you're airborne, Why does your tank gun look like a dang...

Evil Bomber: Finally a worthy challenge!

As for Nitros, I could care less he relies heavily on gimmicks.

Objectively better than most games made today

I know it's ridiculous, but this game scared the shit out of me as a kid, and even as an adult still creeps me out.
Stuff like being eaten by the skeleton fish, Endol's and Bagular's laugh, and Cronus's entire design just really get to me.
