If you are curious as to why
The guy singing doesn't sound entitled on his words through the whole song at all. When there is jealously its common the jealous person goes "you're mine" instead of "I'm yours". It's almost like the guy singing wouldn't even care to be one of their many lovers, he wouldn't care being cheated on or even abused physically or verbally. I believe this because take a look at his metaphors, usually when there is love metaphors envolving 2 people it goes something like "you are the match, I'm the fuse", the couple is portrayed equally as two objects usually to show how they compliment eachother equally like just a specific pair of objects do, but in his metaphors he purposely puts himself as an object that serves a purpose to his lover AS A PERSON, he never describes his lover as an object as well. They are not equal.He recognizes himself as inferior to his lover, he doesn't care about being used...he truly just wants to be theirs, like an object, without having any saying. Just being there, being theirs.
