CBK to revise Shs 1M tough regulations on cash deposits and withdrawals in banks

Central Bank of Kenya is at an advanced stage of revising the 1 million shillings tough regulations on cash deposits and withdrawals in banks. President Uhuru Kenyatta says this will facilitate easy transactions for businesses as the economy bounces back from the Covid-19 shocks. He says the tough requirements that were implemented in 2016 aimed at limiting large transactions are not conducive for the current business environment.
