solstice might be more enticing to PvP players than PvE with some of the weapons, but there's a little something for everyone. let's talk about the event and how you should go about tackling the experience.

Armor glows not being account wide is a huge step back from last year.

For the more solo players, I found that Altar of Sorrow provided a Silver Leaf after every round and around 20 leaves upon completion. Throw in some bounties to just create orbs or elemental kills it's pretty easy to knock out without depending on others too much as other Guardians will most likely be there as well.

biggest piece of advice from someone thats done all 3 characters, just get a suro chi checkpoint and do the 1 leaf bounties to refresh your available ones. you save so many leaves that way and if you get super bad RNG you still make progress and will be able to finish off wtv you need in a handful of 2 leaf bounties

You can do a solo private match of rift set to score to 3, endless vale seems like a pretty fast map. You get 5 leaves pretty much every time tho I did get 4 once.

For anyone farming the solstice weapons, just play bonfire bash. Weapon drop every 5 balls (6 max for a run) and you'll eventually get the armor done while you chase your white whale.

If you need silver leaves, definitely do the public event at sorrows harbor. It gave me 20+ of them last night. You get like 4-7 leaves per phase once you reach the end of

i already got the something new roll that wallah was excited about, ecap and precision instrument. I think the best part combos with this are either:

1. fluted, accurized, stability mw

2. fluted, flared magwell / tac mag, stability mw

3. corkscrew, steady rounds, handling mw

RE: the balls in Bonfire Bash. I'm like 90% sure the bonfire's hitbox is really tall, even at the start of the activity. If you're throwing from the further spots, aim as high as possible.

Something to note is that when you unlock each piece of armor the ones you can get from the bounties will drop with high stats

Now that Onslaught has attunement, if you're interested in any of the weapons (hammerhead, edge transit, midnight coup, luna's howl, the recluse are all decent) - each wave completed rewards one leaf. That's 10 leaves per run. So that's 10 leaves every 15 minutes or so, while doing bounties, while farming for weapons. It's not bad - not the best, but it's not bad.
