this is an odd compliment but I love seeing that your house isn't always perfect. I struggle so much with thinking my favorite organizing youtubers always have a perfect house and I cannot seem to even catch up in order to get ahead with tidying! Yes, yes, yes! You described me. For children's art/paperwork, I started taking pictures of it and I store it folders by grade on a small flash drive along with pictures of awards ceremonies and class events.

I just got done tidying. I played Pandora 80's music so I can sing alone to some faves and only allowed myself to stay in one room for 3 songs. My tidying was done in no time! The kitchen needed 4 songs but the bathroom only needed 1 1/2. So it balanced out. :)

I YOU MUCH!!!! You are my favorite organizing person in the whole entire world!! I feel as though you were speaking DIRECTLY to me. I watch other organizing channels, and while they are aesthetically pleasing and such....I really connect with you because so much of what you share with your audience is how I actually live. I am the "pile" queen. I literally laughed out loud when you said "we just go back and straighten up our piles into a neat pile". My daughter is the princess of throwing an item in the room instead of putting it where it belongs...and it drives me nuts. My house is a "homeless shelter"...lol. I have soooo many things to find homes for. I am very hopeful that one day I will become an Organized Clutterbug. Thanks for sharing.

Finding a home for homeless stuff is the hardest thing for me. When I know where stuff is supposed to go, it is really easy for me to keep things tidy. My ongoing struggle is reducing the amount of stuff I have so that I can actually find places for everything. Seeing how messy everything was at the end of the video, and then the nice clean & tidy after was very motivating.

Hi, great video.   I agree what you said about the bin system.   I started using bins in my kitchen pantry (the pantry is very deep) and it has totally changed my life.   I now do not over buy products, I know how much will fit in the bin and I adjust the amount.   It's a great method.   It has kept me organized since last summer, that's the longest it's ever stayed neat and tidy.   Your videos totally inspire me, thanks.
