Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is a public sector passenger road transport corporation based in Uttar Pradesh, India operating intrastate and interstate bus service. It is one of RSV fleets of buses in India and highest in North India. The Headquarter of the corporation is at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh; India.

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC)
Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) is a state-owned corporation for passenger transport providing bus services both within the state of Gujarat, India and neighbouring states. GSRTC was established on 1 May 1960 with the formation of Gujarat state. GSRTC daily 28 lakh kilometre with 40000 trips and catering daily 24 lakh passengers. GSRTC provides online and mobile phone ticket booking facility. It also provides wi-fi internet service in Volvo buses for free. Currently, the fleet of buses having online ticket booking facility includes Express, Gurjarnagri, Sleeper and Volvo buses.

Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC)
Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is the main public transport operator of Delhi. It is one of the largest CNG-powered bus service operator in the world. Delhi Transport Corporation operates on many routes in Delhi and neighbouring States. The Delhi Transport Corporation was incorporated in May 1948 by the Indian government for local bus services when they found out the incumbent service provider Gwalior and Northern India Transport Company Ltd. was inadequate in serving the purpose.

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is a state-owned corporation that runs transport services within the Indian state of Telangana. It was formed in 2014 by splitting the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Many other Indian metro towns in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Odisha and Chhattisgarh are also linked with the services of TSRTC. It serves about 89.4 lakh passengers every day, having three zones and Services operating through 96 depots.

Many other Indian metro towns in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Yanam and Chhattisgarh are also linked with the services. Earlier, it was a part of Nizam State Rail and Road Transport Department.

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation abbreviated as (MSRTC, or simply ST), is the state-run bus service of Maharashtra, India with 18000+ buses which ferry 7 million passengers daily. It serves routes to towns and cities within Maharashtra and adjoining states. Apart from locations within the state of Maharashtra, the MSRTC service also covers destinations in neighbouring states. It also offers a facility for online booking of tickets for all Buses.

Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC)
Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited (TNSTC) is a public transport bus operator in Tamil Nadu, India. It operates Town and Mofussil buses with a combined fleet bus along with its subsidiaries MTC and SETC. TNSTC caters to all the districts within Tamil Nadu and also operates services to neighbouring states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and union territory of Puducherry.

KSRTC (Karnataka) is the only govt transport organization in the entire country to give tough fight for the private travels. Infact some of their busses have facilities way beyond what private travels could offer and also their service is always on time, clean and reasonably priced. Proud Bangalorean !!

Karnataka's RTC is the only State Transport corporation in the country to enter Limca Book of Records for having received more than 165 national and international awards. And it was the first to add Volvo, Scania and Mercedes Benz buses to it's fleet. And only our buses have innovative designs like toilets, pantry inside the bus.. proud customer of KSRTC since my birth 😛

Nice. Healthy competition between the southern states raises everyone's standard. Karnataka is No.1 by a large margin. Bus services are good in Bangalore - no doubt.
