Women and Girls: Front and Centre in Climate Justice

The catastrophic effects of climate change are on full display in Pakistan. Recent floods affected, more than 33 million people. Per the Post Disaster Need Assessment, Pakistan is paying the price of climate change and floods again proving that women and girls are most vulnerable during the crisis. In addition, they are also least heard during the relief and rehabilitation process. The call for climate justice highlights the need for action to address the causes and impacts of climate change and the meaningful participation of women and girls at all levels.
