What a difference a week can make. I really didn't know what to film this week, so the makeup and look I'm bringing you is very organic and one that has lifted my mood. Sometimes we need the simple distraction and escapism of makeup to lift ourselves up and make us feel a little more able to cope with the day. I was about to head out for a job and this is the makeup I wore to give me a boost and motivate me to keep going. Hope everyone is well this film brings a little joy to your weekend.

This was definitely a much needed video for me today. I got into make up in my early 40s (I'm 48) and since then I've definitely been doing this for years, I discovered that make-up had quite therapeutic virtues on me, I'm highly sensitive and the textures, the smell, the colours can lift me up very easily, I have my little corner in my office where I do my make-up, comfortably and stuff, and it's a great soothing moment of escape

Hey Caroline, thank you for another cheerful and uplifting video. I always watch you when I come home from work, with a glass of red. I remembered recently that I used to sit next to my mum as young boy at her dressing table on a Saturday morning as she put her make up on, with her cup of black coffee and cigarette burning in the ashtray.
