In this episode of Hermitcraft Season 10, Mumbo hooks up the entire Multi Item Sorter and puts every item from the giant chest monster into the system. Big Rons, Willy's woodyard, the Boulder bros and the bank have all been filled with items!

Mumbo you need to seek out Grian to get a permit for the construction noises! Then they have no case against you because you'll be following the law.

Countersuit points for Mumbo -1. Can he prove that the lack of business is because of your shop and not his high prices? 2. Unlawful use of someone's likeness (go get some of those "protesters" and have them join your countersuit).

There are no laws that force an hermit to build a containment wall in the shopping district. Ren did not do that at his beacon shop and Grian can confirm that it is widely deregulated.

There are no laws against noise pollution. The sound effect is a piece of creativity that should not be shut down and it improves the experience in the other mine shops. How can you put creativity under a law? I think a creative person like his highness judge Bdubs will agree.

Yes, it is true that you broke a window with a brick, but you were bullied and threatened, plus it was a prank. I think you can show good will, like building a containment wall and pay one full glass stock to repay the one you broke and you'll be cleared.

Even if there were laws in hermitcraft XB doesnt have a leg to stand on.
Pertaining to the iron pollution:
1a) the pollution is artificially placed by a third party as Mumbo has no iron ore blocks in that mine. So he can argue that he’s not using the shop as a mine, but as a storage facility for his merchandise. This can be proven by showing a pic of the inside of mumbo’s shop and the actually iron farm.
1b) the pollution contain copper which isnt mined/processed at his store (more evidence of it being artificial).
1c) the conveyor belt on which the iron is placed does not function and is only there for aesthetics. (Mumbo has proven he can construct moving structures similar to the conveyor belt with the lift at his base).
1d) you can further prove your buildings do not pollute the area by comparing the iron shop to the gold shop, which hasn’t shown any sign of pollution.

Pertaining to the brick thrown through the window:
2a) Since they havent subpoenaed mumbo’s footage it should be inadmissible in court, and since mumbo did not legally consent to being recorded at the time XB footage cannot be used either.
2b) Since there there are no legal recordings made of the crime in question this can only become a matter of he said she said. So the matter should be dropped as well.

Pertaining to the noise having an impact on his sales:
3a) do a survey of your own among the hermits to see what they think of XB’s prices.
3b) compare his prices with those of previous seasons and you can claim that his high prices are the reason for his loss of sales.
3c) request evidence of any method XB has used to either contact you to lower the sound or soundproof his own store.
3d) show the clip of you saying it could have been louder as this shows consideration for your neighbours.

Then, while you are in court anyway. File a counter defamation lawsuit against XB on the grounds that he was the one who contaminated the area, falsely accused you of wrongdoings and illegal use of representation in his protest, seeing as Pearl has admitted not having agreed to be part of it (and i don’t doubt other hermits will come forward saying the same thing if asked).

Out of the Possible Lawyers... Go for Joe. He may not have won his previous case... But the fact that Doc was his previous client would be really funny and I'm sure Joe could twist that in your favor.

I think, considering Doc is going to be the offensive lawyer, and he's surely going to come in with very litigious proceedings -- having SCAR being the one to just confidently and baselessly gaslight his way around Doc's very detailed reporting would be THE BEST possible court case I'd KILL to see that, especially with Bdubs being the judge -- I hope Scar gets the job lol

Mumbo, in Hermitcraft Season 5, episode 80 you said you would eventually design a storage system to fit inside one chunk so it wouldn't break when you unloaded it. You have finally achieved your goal from years ago : )

Mumbo you are the owner of a gold and iron conglomerate being sued by a small grocery store, you should definitely hire a team of lawyers to battle such a nuisance, imagine yourself walking into the courtroom with every available lawyer on the server, what could go wrong? xD
If you think you don't have the mula for that much muscle, just remember that you are a legit business man, I'm sure they will represent you on credit or maybe even pro bono for such an open and shut case. :-D

While stated already, XB didn't realizing that you offering him Diamonds is known a Settling out of court. Meaning that he'll end up wasting time with the trial. So when the trial does happen, request to speak and mention XB's misunderstanding regarding you paying him diamonds.

possible legal defenses,
1. You were not properly notified, there is no such shop as Clangin' McDingface Mining Co.
2. Creation of the advertisement or ownership of the mustache (depending on intent with said ownership) could be considered a deformation of character.
3. Allowing supply to be contaminated during transport (because the pollution is outside) is 100% the store's responsibility, not yours.
4. You may also point out the increase in sales from ones such as pearl, offsetting the decrease and therefore requiring less compensation.

I got to say Mumbo. Go for Scar. He has the best experience getting people out of problems, he was able to outsmart Grian and Ren with his words, he had the best argument for your case, he hasn't lost a case like Joe has, and he can make Doc do stupid things. To say Scar would be the best lawyer would be an understatement.
