My search is over and I’ve been pretty successful in most of my games. I say most because I’m still learning. I just started playing Madden again this year after not playing for several years. 7:42 and thats why the one defensive tactic i really took from my high school days that i still use now as a DC is to auto-check into man defense whenever theres a possible 4x1 look.

If the running back is in the backfield on the opposite side of trips, then the safety shell shifts to the trips and its man on the back end. If the back is on the same side as the trips or its just flat out 4 receivers to one side, it autos into cover-1 robber no matter what, maybe 2-man if there isnt a scramble threat from the QB or a particularly abusive TE

That curl you hit at 4:45 works everytime when hes wide open. When the defender is close i get a ton of drops. But if i throw to early the tight end doesnt finish his route and the ball goes passed him to that outside CB for a pick because the TE doesnt have his "head turned around". The timing on that one is huge. Fun stuff man love this.

Thank you Coach, I'm very new to Madden and kinda recent to Football. I'm learning a lot from your channel to apply in the game and in real life. I watched it when I was a teen but unfortunately in my country it is not diffused like soccer, which I've played for many years.
