They tried to make it for the exit, the guy who was writing his diary got seperated from the group as they got attacked by the staff. He was chased by a staff member until he actually did find the exit, but as he ran through the exit the staff member jumped on him and killed him. Few seconds after the staff member got terminated by scp foundation personel outside of the infinite ikea investigating this place.

"My biggest fear is if I do die tonight, I just wake up here again in the morning."

That was said just before a staff member appeared behind the person reading the journal.

I interpret that as "Die by the staff, join the staff."

Can we just notice how LUCKY this guy was when it was night? He was sleeping on a bed in the open, and an employee could have got him any moment. Respect, my man

The funniest thing is that the guy who wrote this was probably just got lost in a empty ikea so he got scared shitless so he was pissed ikeas are so big and wrote this

Questions: What happens if someone actually makes it to the staff only areas and decide to go in during the day while the Staff is docile? Don't they usually have door to a loading area in those places? Would they be able to escape that way or would they get sent to another dimension?

His theory about everybody coming from different realities is somewhat proven when he writes about how he saw a drone flying overhead and asks someone about but they say it happens all the time. When this is written the Foundation notes that they have only sent one drone into the Ikea despite the people of Exchange seeing multiple drones.
