Hiking Alone 700 Km in 23 Days | French Alps Silent Hiking Film

Hiking GR5 was a dream for the last years and in the summer of 2023 I managed to fulfill this dream of mine. This is my first thru-hiking trail and for sure not the last one. Traveling on long distance trails it is a different experience and level of exploring.

Don't "collect" fruit from private gardens, even if you can reach it across the barrier, it is not yours. As a hiker you are often welcomed by the locals who live on the route, and I have very often received their generosity and hospitality while hiking the GR5. But behaviour like yours degrades their welcome, and makes them less hospitable to those coming behind you .
