WATCH LIVE: Gov. Jay Inslee provided an update on Washington's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a day after officials evaluated metrics throughout the state. During the update, Inslee announced a two-week pause to the state’s “Healthy Washington” reopening plan. The pause means all counties will remain in their current phase of reopening.

The state will evaluate COVID-19 data at the end of the two-week pause.

Inslee said he made the decision after consulting with the state Department of Health (DOH) because “we are in a constantly evolving situation, unlike any other during the pandemic.”

Inslee was joined by state Department of Health Secretary Dr. Umair Shah and Dr. Jeff Duchin, health officer for Public Health - Seattle & King County.

This guy talks out of both sides of his mouth. If only he'd say something that made any sense. What a poor example of a leader.

Stop complying and educate the order takers... enough people don’t comply, they cannot do anything, strength in numbers....
