The area is zoned heavy manufacturing M3. The couple is livi ng next door in a building that has certificate of Occupancy for factory. Their "cracks" were identified in 2018 and owner received a violation for it. Blaming the cracks on the cement company is disingenuous. Although their building has a CofO for factory, it is a registered LOFT building which allows residential occupancy until legalized (applied in 1999 & rejected; applied again in Nov 2023 and is pending---per DOB website)

Its like building a new fancy house next to a Hog farm that has been there for 50 years and then complaining about the smells.

Same Issue in Far Rockaway and Jamaica. Idk how this types of businesses are allowed to operate in residential areas, they literally take away from neighborhoods.
