Kite Foiling | The pain of learning how to kite with a hydrofoil

After 7 years of kiteboarding and surfing, I started to learn how to foil... and boy has it been humbling. I had visions of cruising around with no wind in a very short amount of time, but the reality was much more high impact. Hope this helps other people laugh off the pain and keep progressing in their foiling.

Love the video. The conditions you have are so awesome. At my kite spot it's pure onshore full with chop coming from every direction and learning is so hard. It's so unfair.

Evan how much you think is important to have a big floating board for doing first steps? because mine is medium small, and after 4/5 hour I still can't water start... but I water started almost without problem when towed from the inflatable boat/dighy (didn't know the correct name)
