Wish they could put some kind of fare checking machine on platforms. Look at places like Chicago and DC, they’re both bigger and overall have more crime (especially Chicago) yet I feel WAY safer on both those places’ transit systems than I do here in the Twin Cities. Yes, people do jump over the turnstiles, but it keeps a lot of people out who have no business being there.
