I think the real recipe is a bit more complex 2/3 cup of cocoa powder, 1/8 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of whey, 1 cup of water, 1 table spoon of salt, 1 table spoon of chocolate-syrup.

Honey, i think you should have had about 8 oz of whey! 1/4 cup of chocolate and a 1/4 cup of sugar to a pitcher full of whey. No wonder it looks like a vanilla drink.

You mentioned that although you "used brown sugar, white is okay" - and you also said you were making a "healthy" drink. I'm here to tell you that refined white sugar is NOT okay because it's not healthy. You have the opportunity here, to use a sugar ingredient that IS okay - I'm talking about raw sugar, sometimes called Turbinado sugar or real pure cane sugar - sugar that is made simply by boiling the cane sugar stalks, then slicing them vertically and open them to allow the water to evaporate naturally in the air - the result is pure cane sugar crystals. White refined sugar is very unhealthy and contains ingredients like bone char and other unhealthy stuff that's used in the refining process. Conversely, pure sugar cane as I described above contains only pure sugar which contains valuable nutrients. I buy pure sugar cane crystals that are labeled "Non-GMO" "Non-GMO Project Verified" - when labeled as such, the sugar contains no GMO (Genetically-Modified Organisms) whatsoever - genetically modified is no good cause it's fake food. I buy Zulka brand by Zucarmex (also can have the name "Morena" on the bag). The off-white colored pure cane sugar contains "100% pure cane sugar" - Zulka's brown sugar contains pure cane sugar and molasses, and sometimes I can even find Zulka powdered sugar. In northern California where I live, I can buy a one-pound bag for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree, the 99Cent store and I can buy a 4-pound bag usually for $1.99 at the Discount Grocery Outlet store. Hopefully you have one of these stores near you and I strongly suggest you change your sugar consumption to pure raw sugar from white refined. Note that I have seen other branded sugars claim to be "Pure Cane Sugar" that are not really sugars made from simply processed sugar cane but are actually still white refined unhealthy sugar - the manufacturers have gotten hip to the difference and to make money, they claim their product is pure so they write that on the label, but it isn't. Stick with the sugars produced by Zulka that always bear the label "Non-GMO Project Verified" and you'll be good to go! (I won't buy or eat anything these days unless it says Non-GMO Project Verified on the label because genetically modified food is the deathknell for an uninformed modern society.)
