29:48 "...whenever I get an MFT, folks, I just take it– put it to the back hole." LOL!

I am so glad that I re-watched this video. I have two MFTs setup with the Connector and been trying to figure out how to connect and use the protractor.

Great episode! I just purchased the extension table for my MFT3 and this video was perfect! I'm currently in the process of installing some random width white oak flooring in my upstairs master bedroom. Also, your tracksaw videos are a huge help! NYUK NYUK !

Thanks for another great live episode! Offsetting the connectors and leaving a gap between tables makes total sense to reduce fence deflection. However, does the singular set screw per side still provide enough rigidity/stability? If not, this would be a great time for Festool to launch the longer Sedgerail edition.

Can’t believe how out of shape this guy is, but loved the video

Well after watching this. I had to buy my MFT/3. There’s one thing you need to have is a something to hang the track saw off the table. Any ideas?

Regarding the original MFT 800 and 1080, the tables were also different lengths. The 1080 was longer (45”) close to the length of the new MFT3, but only 28” deep (wide). The MFT 800 was about 23” by 28” and came with the shorter 800 rail, which only would fit front to back. Yes, the rail size gave them their model number, but the table worksurface area was also different, and both had a 32” high work surface. The new MFT3 is higher at 35”, and uses a different side extrusion also, so the two tables can not be joined together. Cheers

With all your 3 Stooges references, I’m surprised you haven’t used this one: “I’ll explain so even you’ll understand.”

Great vid. Thanks, Sedge.

Would love to see how you set the MFT up to cut a 4 X 8 sheet on plywood. I'm thinking the only way is to set up 3 tables like Brent has in his shop. How thats crazy at $2400 plus. Got to figure how to do plywood sheet on 2 MFT?3 tables.

cool, thanks for the info .
im not sold on that gap in between the 2 tables fsstool should've thought something better, i keep them both tight to each other and use a table clamp to keep it square.

Can you connect an old MFT/1080 to a new MFT/3? Are the heights the same and the bottom groove on the rail?

Even if it’s a shorter episode I’d be very interested in seeing what the rg130 can do. I’m pretty sure it solves a bunch of problems for me but I can’t find that much info on it nevermind talk to anyone who owns one

So you need 2 sets of the supports that's another $200 so now its a $1000 table. When you starts buying you will be broke and hooked for life. EXTRA'S EXTRA'S

When will the KEB start to ship out? 6 month wait seems like a really long wait.

If Festool is reading this: I recently purchased the dashboard shortcut system. They might not be a true competitor yet but they will be. The quality of their products is at 11. I hope Festool will take note and innovate. It’s time.

Hopefully the floors are level at the job site for all those work tables connected.
