I hope this passes, I live in NY & Michigan. When I go home to Michigan I can carry all day long, when I come to NY I can't. Sad thing is I am a proud vet, it's ok for vets to give their lives for their country but in some states you don't have the right to protect yourself and others. I took an oath to protect this country until the day I die. But how can I when in certain states I can't arm myself ? I live 2 blocks away from where that mass shooting took place in Brooklyn that getting too close to home. So I am moving to PA where I can defend myself if need be.

2 cops shot last night, last year NYC the most shootings in the United States and the strictest gun laws. None of these restrictions work. Give us the rights that everyone in the US has.

Which they absolutely should because the law is truly unconstitutional. New York must to allow either concealed carry or open carry. Just because they allow concealed carry does it mean they issue permits without having to demonstrate why you need to exercise your right more than other people that’s the problem!

Let’s wait and see if the Supreme Court believes that the Second Amendment says what it means and means what it says!! Law abiding citizens either have rights or they don’t..
Just remember, if the second amendment can be removed from the people, what other rights of the people can be removed??

The nyc mayor carries gun.
The ny gov have armed guards
But they got a problem with citizens rights to carry.
We have the right to protect ourselves from criminals that these politicians favor over normal citizens.
If you are rich or have connections to the politicians, cops, elites than you can get permit but normal citizens can't why?
Uvalde incident proved that you can't rely on cops.

doesn't take a rocket scientist to see why law abiding ppl need a gun in nyc..At onetime only those carrying large sums of money (bankers/diamond dealers etc. could acquire them and even then many laws and regulation to do so. Cops are nowhere when you need them, and in cases like Uvalde TX, that's a no brainer. Not saying kids should have guns but ppl should be allowed to protect themselves...period!

I see no words in the 2nd amendment that indicate any sort of " boundaries " . No " buts ", " no except these people " none of those words appear in the 2nd, especially the word " BUT " ! I am in NJ and a licensed gun owner. I need to lose 10 lbs right away to carry IWB, and still be able to breath. My pants are a little tight as it is….LOL!
