About a year ago I removed mine for like a couple of months and noticed on the same trip that i daily drive route going 55mph, that i went from 18-19mpgs to 16-17mpgs. So in my opinion it does make a slight difference. So when i take a long road trip i slap it back on.

I have found my Taco's MPG computer is for more liberal than if I do the math at the pump, when filling up. I don't put too much trust in what the truck's computer tells me regarding MPG's.

I can’t believe that you’re getting 29mpg. You must have the 4cyl engine because my 3.5 V6 could only dream about that kind of mileage

Curious to hear with bigger sample size if there was a noticeable difference in MPG.. Or other difference? Wind noise? Whistling?
...?

Was the wind equal both in speed and direction when you did both tests? Was the fuel tank relatively filled the same? Were there more riders in the first trip? Was this the same stretch of highway with the same weather conditions? And lastly, were you riding behind any other cars on either/both trips?

I put on a 2" Bilstein lift and 32" Michelins. Went from 23 to 21 mpg. Mostly highway driving. The air dam is getting removed for looks.

How are you getting 29+ mpg? I got 20.1 at 65 mph before 33’s and a 3” lift. Now I get 14-15 at the same speed.
