You forgot to mention that Portugal supported the nationalists since Portugal was in a far-right dictatorship at the time

Edit: I originally said that they were "leaning into fascism." I wouldn’t say they were fascists but Portugal was a far-right regime at the time and they opposed fascism (despite their ideology at the time having some similarities with fascism).

Spain actually had a different policy for each front of WWII:
Western Front: Neutral, fully so
Eastern Front: Pro-axis (not because they really liked the Germans, as Franco and Hitler were reputedly not very friendly, but because the Spanish hated Reds, they formed a volunteer division that became the 250th Division of the Wehrmacht, famous for their heroic stand at Krasny Bor; the 'Blue Division' as it was called, saw members fight in the SS all the way to Berlin)
Pacific Front: Pro-allies (both because they wanted to be on good terms with thr allies so thry did not evonomically tuin Spain after the war, and because they hated Japan for some reason, so much so, that in '44-45, Franco genuinely considered breaking his neutrality and making war with Japan)

All countries used the civil war in Spain as a way to test out new military technologies they had been producing. They did this by supplying both sides with military aid.

As I french, I can say that the leader of the government (Léon Blum) tried to give support to Spain republic
But the constitution, law and the assembly basically restrain him
So, France tries to give support, like in the international forces, it's basically illegal in France to go in another country for fighting, it's considered as "mercenary", but the government has basically closed eyes on it
Some light military equipment has also been "lost" without real explanation
And some other light things that can't change a war... But was a try to help and pass over the rules

If I'm remembering correctly, we (British) sent the Francoists troops and munitions as a means of establishing good relations with the Spanish Nationalists and also to avoid conflict.

Good for Spain to be natural. Despite it sending some soldiers of its own to fight the USSR, Spain would have gotten a bad ending if it joined ww2

Fun fact: Mexico also entered the war, sending weapons and volunteers to the spanish goverment to help them againts Franco, and Mexico received spanish refugees (mostly women and children)
