Agriculture and climate change. What's the issue, and what can policymakers do?
Показать описание
Agriculture is particularly vulnerable to climate change, but is also a major source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The adverse effects of climate change are already visible and increasing. Although agriculture currently lags behind other sectors in terms of climate commitments and actions, it can become an important part of the overall mitigation solution by reducing GHG emissions and removing CO2 from the atmosphere by sequestering carbon.
