Ed started an exotic car rental company as a 20 year old student at Georgia Tech and some of his clients were very interesting.

Several requests here and on other social accounts for the Floyd Mayweather story. Floyd spends a good bit of time in Atlanta and usually travels with a lot of cars and a serious entourage. It is not uncommon to see 4-5 of his exotics parked outside of the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. Lots of VINwiki posts of them. He came by the dealership a few times and it was always surreal. All of a sudden the parking lot would fill with black Escalades, at least 5 or 6 of them and they would start emptying with his bodyguards, family, friends, etc. He would lead the group in and walk up to me with a very specific request - like a white LP640 Roadster. I would offer something like, "I have a good local client with one that is willing to sell, I can have it here tomorrow." His response would always be, "No, I need it right now, if you don't have it here, we are leaving." To this, I would obviously have to reply, "We don't keep every car in every color, so if those are the terms I am afraid we will have to disappoint you. Of course, if I can have it shipped to your house in the next week, anything is available." Within 30-60 seconds that conversation would conclude and he would head to his next stop. Always quick and surreal but reasonably cordial.
