But with some feminists claiming that gender means nothing, and others claiming empowerment through celebrating their exaggeratedly feminine bodies, there is not much consensus about where this movement is going.

Journalist Ella Whelan questions whether we need feminism at all, and gives her take on where women's politics is going.

Your voice/rhetoric is utterly lacking in any fresh vision, optimism and rigorous research. Yet, most sadly, your lack of friendliness. towards women, in general, is suspect- what is your true agency? Then, the policies and contemporary feminism Whelan opposes are also a distraction to divert attention from the lying and pretentious behaviour women practise in the workplace.
