The best use is around the house. I just redid our fireplace. Took the tile down and put up quartz stone. However, I skipped a large section and had to go reapply a 1”x24” piece. I used the gorilla glue… ultimate. Max. Whatever they have it as, comes in a tube. Heat resistant into the hundreds. Since this is on the outside of the fire pit I trust it won’t get beyond 100 degrees, but it’s nice to have the buffer. So far, good. It cured. No smell. And the fireplace has been on for 6 straight hours and nothing happened.
So for house stuff. Yes. For wood stuff. Stick to wood glue. It’s called wood glue for a reason.

From one point its the user error, but from the other, You get more work which makes you more money. Most faults and failures are end-user doing, rarely the part.

It really depends on the application, of course. I can see for woodworking and joinery it’s a nightmare, but for many other things, it is an amazing product.

Thank you!
I'm trying to mend an old entertainment center I purchased in the late 1980's or early 1990's, so big!
It has a door on the side with shelves & just about every male & female connection is disconnected.
I bought the gorilla glue bc it says glue for wood.
I've never used it before so I thought I better see what YouTube says is the best way to wet the wood & apply & spread the glue.
I'm getting that I should use a very, very small amount?! 😅

Polyurethane glue has been around for at least 4 decades and has great applications in the industry. I would never use it in wood working. Not only for the reasons you list, but also because it has a high risk of causing allergies.

Poly is a decent glue but as with the others, the taste is off-putting.
