Usui-San, this is a definite NO. If the loft area was not so high up requiring 2 ladders, then maybe but there is no room for a refrigerator and the laundry space seems a bit awkward.

You said your journey is coming to and end soon. I hope you found something more to your liking but that would mean no more apartment videos, and I along with everyone else would be disappointed. I am awaiting eagerly with what lies at the end of the journey.

I am convinced that the more stupid the layout, the less likely there is toilet paper storage. The library looked wonderful and was the best part of the video. Thank you sharing your adventure there. Keep looking, Usui-san.

I didn't think this micro apartment was horrible, I just found the layout a little peculiar. But what caught my attention (in a bad way) were the stairs.

I drink a lot of water and, even after sleeping, I get up at least twice to use the bathroom at night. So I think it's terrible when the only space where the bed (barely) fits is in the loft. Imagine going down and up the stairs while drowsy? I would fall, for sure.

And the rent is very high due to the unfavorable things.

The wooden floor is beautiful. But considering the extra high loft, no toilet paper storage, all the odd corners limiting furniture and the rent... that's a no from me.

At least the rent seems reasonable on this one. The sleeping bag cracked me up. It looked suspiciously like a coffin.

Just when you think they can't design a worse micro apartment, Usui-san finds this one. So much unusable space!

I actually really like this apartment. I usually have a problem with micro apartments because there usually isn’t a separation for sleeping and living but I like this. I’d put a small futon upstairs and downstairs use a small chair to watch TV and play video games. There is a lot of light which makes it seem bigger than it is.

Usui-san, thank you again for giving us all a glimpse into your daily life. This apartment is definitely not the one. Despite the fact, the wood panel/flooring throughout does make this apartment seem rather inviting, there are problems.

1. The loft area - enough space for a bed. But with two ladders and your fear of heights, make this rather infeasible for you.
2. The angles of this apartment are rather peculiar. This fact alone makes it rather hard for you to arrange any furniture.
3. No TP storage in the toilet room.

On the plus side, there is a fantastic Library there. I would have to be arrested if they wanted to prise me out of there! The apartment in Episode 34 is the best.

The wood door, the pine floor and all the Wood details made it very cosy, and the fake brick wall added to the ”farm vibe” I liked it a lot, it has potential! Thanks 💖💖💖

I love when you show some of the lovely locations in the area while looking at the apartments and learn about the culture. It's great when you eat at the the restaurants and show the food in the area. THIS was probably one of the worst layouts that I've ever seen so far. I felt for you going up both ladders to the loft... and then seeing the other opening that looks over the entryway. Yeesh!I hope you find you ideal apartment.

My favorite apartment was episode 27 - I could see myself there. Nice windows, nice kitchen, nice bathroom and toilet room. nice living/sleeping space. That has been my favorite so far. None of these compare.

Awkward and impractical room. Imagine going to the loo in the middle of the night. Even if one survives the two ladders, his toes may not survive all the corners at the wrong places. Love the library ❤❤❤ nice food too❤❤❤ thank you Usui-san for an interesting video❤❤❤

This one is totally worth it. Desk with fridge under it by window, microwave and rice cooker on pantry shelves, fold down table oposite sink, futon in loft and loads of storage options can be built in over washing machine and in loft cubby. Those brick tiles are so cold though....

As impractical as this one is, I think is rather cute and the space downstairs is quite usable, like add a small sofa or desk with chair and you have your work area or studio. You put a nice decent sized fridge next to the washer. And upstairs you can keep your futon unfolded and other extra stuff like books and even a tv. The shelf next to the kitchen is ideal for pantry or even books. I know the search goes on, as I would not like the height either. Thank you for showing us though! 😊
