This is my interpretation of "Herma" by composer Iannis Xenakis. This work is constructed under Boolean algebra influence. It is one of my favourite piano pieces of all time. Xenakis combines two types of masses of sounds that balance the structure of the sets. 1)Very dry without pedal and 2) great masses of sounds with pedal.
Enjoy it!

One of my favorites too. I had the great opportunity to play this for Xenakis in 1998 on live Radio France. I remember everything...except playing! It went by too fast in my mind. Lovely performance here - glad to see the work still resonates with younger generations! Your wonderful choreography is so smooth and the visuals you provide in the backdrop are magnificent.

Definitely one of my favorite 'masses of sound'. Is it music? I think that is a philosophical question, listening to Xenakis might bring up, but it isn't necessary to enjoying the nature and flurries of the sound itself. There is quite a tremendous amount of skill that would go into playing this.
There are several pieces Xenakis wrote for piano, but this and Eonta definitely remind me of each other a lot. Evryali and Mists are also good.
