I love those kind of theory oriented videos. Thank you for putting the effort into making it. From my experience, understanding the theory behind colors, lights, materials, etc.. save huge time trying to get certain looks. In face most people give up creating good art, because they keep practicing without understanding what they are doing, which leads to painfully slow progress in terms of quality of their work.

Man I've been struggling for so long to even understand how roughness and metallic work from a scientific pov, and this just taught it to me in such a short amount of time lmao.

This is a very awesome explanation. That's why I bought Skillshare in the first place! Having Nexttut is totally enough for me. Btw, what course is this? I want to learn more on the theoretical side of texturing, rather than just learning the software.

UE documentation says that rubber is 0.5 metallic
