He had a swagger to him that we just didn't see last year

Agree on Allar. Something BIG awaits.

Not a huge fan of either, but it was on here, so i watched.

WVU came out & went back in.

Was impressed with sime LB’s the D had for Both.

Small & quick #35 for WVU was fast off the snap, & seemed like a good 1.

Good luck PSU

ALL IN WITH ALLAR

Better Offensive Coordinator for PSU this year by far….

The only reason this was an upset alert game is because WVU fans continue to be delusional about their football program.

Josh, we in Morgantown would appreciate your assessment on how completely unprepared Neal Brown teams are and have been for matchups with teams like Penn State. The clips you showed highlight Mountaineer defenders guarding nobody while Penn State players are wide open or barely touched. It's one thing to be outplayed by a better team, but it's another thing to not even be in a position to show that you're being outplayed because you can't even line up correctly or go in motion without fumbling the ball. A Neal Brown coached team is never going to beat a team like this Penn State team. He is in way over his head! I like Neal Brown. He tries hard. He's a great guy. He just doesn't know how to run a Power 4 program and beat anyone of note. Even his wins are cringe worthy most of the time.

If this was filmed before miller moss’s performance then I’ll agree it was best in the big ten but miller moss is legit!

I’m not gonna lie, I’m a psu fan but I thought they actually looked pretty freakin good. Let’s go. Can’t wait to be disappointed!!

First game but will need... a few more yards per carry, greater receiver separation, and relentless QB pressure on D. Will need all three with USC and OSU coming up.

As a PSU fan I’ve been saying it for awhile. Get the offense going and it’s a top 4 team, run for a championship team. We’ve been a top 4 team in the last 4 years with sloppy play, rough coaching and terrible offensive coordinators! Future is bright hope they finally got the right guy

The national media has had a habit of parroting the idea that James Franklin and Penn State CANT win a big game, or are overrated in general. Team fan bases like to latch on to that and hype themselves up. " PSU is overrated" "PSU can't win tough road games" yada yada...They all fail to understand, Penn State doesn't lose to teams that aren't top 12ish caliber and WVU is no where near a top 12 team. WVU fans bought that hype while also buying PSU as overrated and choke artists in big games. They then bought into this being a big game...None of it was true, PSU was always winning this game by a lot as wvu is not on the level it takes to actually bother a true top 12 program. There are levels to this, WVU isn't on the PSU level. Classic, well they can't win a conf title or make the playoffs so ya we have a shot, except no you never fking did.

There was a lot of shade intentionally casted upon Penn State to create more hype for an unranked team in order to justify a weak narrative that an unranked WV team was going to beat a top ten ranked team. The very same ranked team that destroyed West Virginia last year. C'mon people, you should always challenge and question everything being told to you.

As a penn state fan I really was doubting drew Allar and was close to writing him off as another overrated Christian hackenburg like player. A refreshed offense with the talent they have with the new OC has me hyped. Receiver and big plays were the issue last year and Trey Wallace has emerged as the guy to help Allar to the next level.

NB told our AD that he didnt see this coming. Yeah, it was that bad. Congrats to PSU. And by the way if there was any hype it was coming NB himself. He was very high on his team in the off season and told every to “just watch.”

My only complaint is taking Allar off the field for wildcat with backup QB.

Prime example of why you should never be persuaded by fan base hype and the media who gladly pushes it for ratings. Hype should never trump logic, common sense and good Ole fashion data. Penn State's last three recruiting classes averaged 12th in the nation. West Virginia, on the other hand, their average recruiting classes ranked 50th. That's a huge gap in talent, way to big to ignore. Oh, but you say Penn State lost a handful of talent from last year vs. West Virginia, who retained most of their talent, you mean the very same players who were blown out at State College last year. So yes, upsets can happen, but Penn State was ranked 8th for a reason, and West Virginia WASN'T RANKED at all for a reason. As a fan, you should never jump early on the hype train.
