You forgot to mention that Barry killed the Black Racer, the god of death. The black racer wanted to give the tether for death (as in the universal force of death from the New Gods) to Barry and in order for Flash to tether it to himself he had to kill one person. The man took up the Scythe and sent mr God of Death running.

Without a doubt, the best Flash story is the novelization of "Crisis on Infinite Earths", in which the spirit of Barry, who acts as the main narrator, helplessly witnesses all the tragic events surrounding the elimination of the Multiverse, being the death of Kara (with whom he once shared an intimate afternoon) and the uncertainty of what will happen to Iris what hurts him the most. The epilogue of the book in which Barry's spirit ends up in the future, sees an elderly Iris advising their grandson Bart (who inherited his grandfather's super speed), and realizes his time has finally ended and must now go to Heaven is just heartbreaking.
Bt the way, I like how Flash's narration is 25% s*xualizing his female companions, 25% making pop-culture references, 25% telling how much he loves Iris and the last 25% telling the main story 😂😂😂
