I flew several times a year when I was a kid in the late 80s to early 90s. All the in flight entertainment I ever had was first my Walkman, then my gameboy and lots of spare batteries. And it was awesome

VietJet is a pretty good airline. I've never had any problems except (and this is a problem in VN) flights are often delayed or even canceled. It's a miracle when a flight (whether VJ or Vietnam Airlines etc) leave or arrive on time. There is a new budget airline, Bamboo. I haven't yet tried it but they also begin service to LAX and San Francisco in September.

Just visited Hanoi at December.. Beautiful destination and best winter destination too. Especially I love Hanoi airport such a beautiful eye sight for all airlines.. The best airport at Asia.

I was on Vietjet last Dec, DPS-SGN-DPS. Would say they will grow as a competition for AirAsia. The service we got was as good as AA. Also the crew were attentive.

I flew vietjet from Saigon to Changi last June it was a very pleasant flight and the food was really good, a really good option for budget travel

Success! Finally found your last pre-pandemic flight. I've looked for other aviation YouTubers last pre-pandemic flights and they hit different. Almost like a portal into a different world before the craziness of 2020.

The best entertainment during a flight is right there, on your right: the window views. When there's not much visibility, a good book is my first option...

Great and very honest review as always - loved seeing you travel as a couple again. You should do some more travel vlogs together once we’re out of this crisis. A culinary journey through Vietnam/Asia would be great for example. Keep up the magnificent work and stay safe.

It was a very nice surprise seeing Seraphina in this video. Two smiling faces for the price of one. However, that back row of the plane looked extremely claustrophobic, I would probably not choose that. But not bad for a LCC. Thanks again for a great review Josh!❤️👍✈️

You don't take budget airlines for long flights - I don't!
Budget airlines are ok for flights just about 3 hours long. Anything longer then that, it gets terribly uncomfortable, which can lead to health issues.

Josh that was negative leg room, literally your knees went under the bottom of the tray table. Thats ultra low cost.
