this is a place where we loved to picnic and hike. A place where we took the flute and guitar. A place where we brought friends and family from out of town. A place where we would spend Sunday afternoons with our dogs. A place we went to, to lie out under the stars. We miss Monjeau so much!

Don't despair Ruth. The hike up to Monjeau is still full of amazing vistas, and you will be happy to know that the Aspens survived. If you would like to see some shots from the walk you can view them by clicking the link in the description.
Some of the photos are sad but there are still plenty of reasons to visit Moneau.

The tower has been repaired, sometime before December of 2016.

tried getting up there a few weeks ago-- only made it to skyline, the gate was closed. thanks for sharing
